We were born in 2013, and we provide services in the field of information technology.

We are looking for a Cloud IT Manager to join our company in one of our projects, in remote.

Tasks:

1. Infrastructure and Cloud Management:

• Manage, and optimize the company’s Azure Cloud infrastructure;
• Support the full development team with DevOps knowledge (e.g. automation of deployments, setup of infrastructure for new components, etc.);
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of IT systems to agreed SLAs;
• Monitor and manage cloud resources, focusing on cost efficiency and performance;
• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans;
• Ensure systems and data are backed up and can be restored promptly;
• Test and update recovery procedures regularly;
• Continuous improvement of our infrastructure

2. Information Security

• Maintain comprehensive information security policies and procedures;
• Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and ensure incident response readiness;
• Protect the organization against cyber threats and data breaches;
• Support SOC2 and PCI compliance efforts, especially on the technology aspects

3. IT Management

• Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy, aligning it with business objectives;
• Provide a voice to leadership for IT investments and infrastructure;
• Lead approved internal IT projects, from planning to execution, ensuring they meet business needs and timelines;
• Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources;
• Monitor IT expenditures and seek cost saving opportunities;
• Forecast future IT costs and investments;
• Source and procure IT hardware and software, ensuring the best value for the company;
• Evaluate, select and manage vendors, contracts, and service agreements

4. IT Operations and Support

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations to ensure reliable and efficient IT service delivery;
• Manage IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities;
• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and provide support to staff;
• Maintain an inventory of all IT assets, including laptops, servers, and other equipment;
• Ensure regular maintenance, updates, upgrades and security measures for laptops and other devices.

Requirements:

• Autonomy: Given the remote working model, we need someone who is highly motivated, a self-starter, well organized and comfortable interacting with a diverse range of colleagues, all of whom will be working remotely and across multiple time zones;
• Team Player: Someone that works well with others and helps the entire team be successful on our common goals;
• Technical Proficiency: Solid engineering background, preferably in Microsoft technology stacks and a deep hands-on knowledge of Cloud technologies and especially Azure;
• Database Knowledge: Solid experience with SQL for either SQL Server or Azure SQL;
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex technical details and work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members;
• Hands-on attitude: Someone that is still comfortable with implementing all kinds of changes directly;
• Process Improvement mindset: Someone that is always looking for how to improve our infrastructure and IT management, including  automation wherever possible;
• Fluent in English;
• Prior experience in similar roles with both Cloud and IT management (desirable);
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub and Teams (desirable);
• Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance frameworks (desirable).
